All human attendees MUST WEAR MASK prior to entering the building. Vaccination cards not required.

There is 6 SPOTS AVAILABLE for each class in accordance.  MUST REGISTER BEFORE CLASS START DATE to ensure we do not go over capacity. Thank you for your understanding.

PLEASE STAY HOME IF YOU ARE SICK or you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms:

-Dizziness/Headache/Nausea
-Chills/Fever/Muscle Aches
-Coughing/Sore Throat
-Loss of taste or smell

If you have to miss class due unforeseen circumstances, please inform us so we can apply a refund or a credit towards the next Puppy Play class. Thank you for your interest in class.

About the Class (currently available on most Saturdays)

$15.00/puppy 

Location: 1000 SW 149th St, Burien, WA 98166

Come with your pup (9 weeks to 6 months of age) for 30 minutes of play and socialization with other pups.  We’ll have fun learning about dog body language, impulse control, bite inhibition, proper dog to dog and dog to human interaction, how to share, and handling skills. This class will be a great way to build confidence in both puppy and owner and protect you and your dog from any doggy misunderstandings. 

Puppy Play for dogs 18lbs and under is at 9:30 am on most Saturdays.  Bigger shy dogs are welcomed in this playgroup.

Puppy Play for dogs 19lbs and over is at 10:15 am on most Saturdays. Smaller “I think I’m big” dogs are welcomed in this playgroup.

Please email:

  • Current vaccination records (Bordetella, DHPP, Rabies) — for puppies 16 weeks and younger, the series of shots for DHPP must be started before first play.
  • Proof of negative Ova & Parasite and Giardia Antigen Test–within the last 30 days

Please bring:

  • A variety of high value treats/rewards.
  • 6-8 ft leash–No Retractable Leashes please and thank you!
  • Chew item–beef tendon, frozen stuffed kong, bully stick, etc.

For your dog’s safety, your dog will not be able to play if proof of negative fecal and current vaccination records are not presented before class. We take your puppies health to heart.  Please refer to the link below for additional valuable information regarding socialization and vaccinations.

Meet the Trainers:

Wendy and Tatyana completed a training apprenticeship program and became trainers for one of Seattle’s premier dog training facilities. They have years of hands on experience through training a variety of dogs of differing temperament and ages.  They are well versed in both private and group instruction. Wendy is a CPDT-KA certified trainer who has over 7 years of experience.  Tatyana presently works for a well-established dog care facility on the Eastside where she teaches classes, provides private consults and offers training for their board and train program.  If you’re interested in more information or additional services please contact us at:  wendy@pawstoappreciate.com
