About

CPDT-KA Certified, Wendy was born in Seattle.  She graduated from University of Washington with a Bachelor’s in Economics with International Emphasis.  Soon after, she pursued one of her passions and received degrees in both Culinary Arts and Specialty Baking.  Partnering with her older sister, they ran a locally loved restaurant in the international district for five years.

Having lived her passion for cooking, Wendy decided to explore her life-long love for dogs. Wendy has volunteered for People United for Pets (PUP)—a local non-profit rescue group, from 2014 to 2017.  She has also completed a dog trainer’s apprenticeship program through a respected training facility on the Eastside and received a certification–CPDT-KA through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).  She has worked with a variety of dogs with varying personalities and provided private lessons, consultations, and group training.  Currently, she continues volunteer work with Motley Zoo Animal Rescue—a foster based non-profit that provides life-saving medical procedures and healthcare to animals in need.

In her spare time, Wendy continues to maintain, update, and expand her knowledge of dog training, canine behavior, and nutrition by adding to her library of books and attending continued education classes, seminars, workshops, and conferences. You’ll also find that she has not neglected to maintain her culinary skills by cooking for her family, friends, and canine loves and enjoy spending time with her dogs, Laughing, Mandu, and Bora — All rescue dogs through PUP and Motley Zoo Animal Rescue.

Strolling with my heart dog and soulmate.  I’ll see you later, friend.
